Courtroom5 is a digital- and artificial intelligence-based platform that provides resources for litigants appearing in civil court without a lawyer. Courtroom5 was founded by Sonja Ebron, a PhD electrical engineer and entrepreneur, and Debra Slone, a PhD librarian and former library school professor, who came up with the idea for the platform after years of personal experience fighting in civil courts without legal representation. For a small monthly fee, Courtroom5 members are given access to an entire litigator’s toolset, animated video courses, workshops, legal forms and documents, and community forums.

Tillson is the author of two trilogies for elementary school children. Both trilogies focus on the adventures of Sam and Becky as they discover mysteries surrounding lighthouses in coastal North Carolina and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Tillson is currently working on a third trilogy featuring Sam and Becky, this time set on the California coast.
